Our chapel, at which students and teachers meet during lunch to pray and offer worship to the Lord, has some announcements to share.
The chapel will be offering the prayers for the month of October for special intentions, including breast cancer patients and their families, continued Ida recovery, an end to COVID, the family of Coach Cryer, and more. We encourage students and administrators to join us in prayer at lunch!
Tuesday, October 5th is Saint Faustina Kowalska’s feast day! Our Lord chose Sister Faustina in the 1930s to be His Secretary of Divine Mercy. Through her, Jesus sent the message of His great mercy for souls and His call for us to trust confidently in His love. We invite you to take time on the feast day and throughout the month of October to thank God for His great mercy. And don’t forget to trust in Jesus!
One does not live on bread alone! Be reminded that we have Mass every Thursday at first lunch. We would love to see people attend, even if you are not making up a grade for a missed school Mass! The Sacrament of the Eucharist is extremely important to the life of the follower of Christ; try to foster a craving for Communion with the Lord. He wants to see you at Mass! Don’t leave Him hanging!
In other news, Advent begins November 28th! Be encouraged to sign up early at the link below for our Chapel’s Advent Calendar! Prayers for you and your intentions will be offered each day of Advent in the Chapel at lunch. Peace be with you and have a blessed October!
