This week, our Jaguar Journalist - Roving Reporter, Sydney St. Amant took to the hallways, cafeteria and courtyards to find out the answer to the following question: "What are your plans for Homecoming Week?"
Here's what she discovered:
From 8th grade's, Mallorie Whitten,’’I am excited to dress up with my friends for homecoming week, and go to a real dance, and hang out with friends at the football game!’’
Freshman, Preston Mayeux says, ’’I think all the themes for Homecoming week are goofy; but, it will be funny to dress up with my friends (all in good fun, of course), and I think it will be fun to go to dinner before homecoming and then have fun with all of my friends afterwards.’’
Here is what Sophomore, Catherine Glory had to say about her plans next week, ’’I love themes - like twin day, because it’s always a good time to get all your friends together and a big group dress up, and I love doing my makeup and putting on a pretty dress and having a fun evening with friends.’’
Junior, Alexis Ring expressed, ’’I am excited to watch the powder puff games and especially excited for Wednesday's Decades Day. I am all about a 'blast from the past', and can’t wait to spend a fun night with my friends during homecoming, and of course go to the game!’’
Now in his fifth year at PJP, Senior, Aidan Combs: ’’I am so excited for the big Thursday night pep rally, for friday's game. During homecoming week, it’s going to be epic! I would love to see my friends dress up goofy all week, and I think it’s funny seeing friends dress up in their suits for homecoming, too.’’
Rounding out opinions, Mrs. Sherri Dutreix (at our front office) laughs, "Homecoming week is fun-filled, jam-packed, and exhausting all at once. This is my tenth year at PJP, and I'm always pleasantly surprised to see, oftentimes, very passionate participation by the faculty and staff! There are plans in the works for Twin Day. I just hope all stay safe and enjoy the week for all it brings!!"
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this week's survey. Go Jags!
