On Tuesday evening, October 5th, PJP's College / Career Advisor, Mr. Danny Clavier coordinated and organized an informative event for Jaguars to consider their post-high school plans. "More than 20 institutions were represented for families to converse and gain valuable information," says Clavier, "It was a wonderful turnout. Seeing the amount of conversation taking place at every table makes the event worthwhile. The goal was to bring a variety of colleges & options to our school community, who may not otherwise be aware what every one of them has to offer their family and student." College reps also commented about the amount of interest and warm reception that they all received. Says Tyra Toliver from ULL, "It was appreciated, as was the pre-event reception for us guests upon arrival to your campus." Parents, too, have expressed their gratitude for the evening. Says one junior parent, "...our heartfelt gratitude for pulling together such a large and well-rounded group of schools with whom our PJP students could visit. Tonight’s College Night was a first-class event, and a wonderful opportunity for our students. Well done, and thank you again!"
