Swim Team Has First Meet, Oct 2nd, in Biloxi

Jaguar swimmers were FINALLY in the pool for our first swim meet of this school year!  Our team traveled to Biloxi on Saturday, October 2, to participate in the 'Jeanie and Keith Demoruelle Invitational Swim Meet'.  Twenty-one teams, most from Mississippi, were present for the competition.  Our jags swam well and made PJP proud in both individual and relay events.  We await final results and are happy with our efforts!  The next meet is scheduled for Saturday, October 9th at Cross Gates Family Fitness in Slidell.  


In the photo below are PJP's girls' medley relay team of Lizzie Kelly, Sally Wagner, Lucy Degan, and LIzzie Sieber - that's two 8th graders, a freshman and one junior - after winning their heat!!  The team finished 8th overall (of 21 competing schools) - WOW!  Go Jags!  I'm sure we'll see a lot of progress and success as these young ladies mature and gel as a relay team in the future!!
